Welcome to the Glastonbury Male Voice Choir website. We hope you enjoy looking around our site and find it of interest. Don't forget to take a look at our diary to find out about our next performance.
The choir is currently almost forty strong and is growing steadily. We welcome new members. There are no auditions to endure, just come along and we will slot you in . You can try singing with us and see how you like it. We will link you with someone to 'show you the ropes' and help you find your place in the choir.
Whether you are a fan of the choir and would like to come to one of our concerts or you are interested in joining us, we thank you for visiting our site and we hope to see you soon.

WHO'S WHO
Tracey Hansford - Musical Director
Cheltenham born soprano Tracey Hansford completed a Music Degree in Bath specialising in performance in 1994. Tracey enjoys a varied repertoire of recital and oratorio in the local area. Tracey is currently singing with Operaletta, a Bath Opera group and regularly performs with Ad Lib who are an 8-piece barbershop group. Tracey runs a successful teaching practise both in Wells and Bristol and is also musical director of Cantabile who are a ladies choir based in Wells. This is her second year as Musical Director of the Glastonbury Male Voice Choir
Dave Greenwood - Chairman
Dave lives in Wells with wife Di and has two grown-up children living in Bath. A retired pharmacist, Dave came to Somerset in 1976 and started his practice in Glastonbury. He joined GMVC eleven years ago so still a comparative "new boy". Favourite songs from the choir repertoire, Speed your journey, Rhythm of life, When the saints and Morte Christe. Aim as chairman is to give the choir a greater public profile, by singing a wider spectrum of music and appealing to more singers and a wider audience. If I can increase both audiences and membership by 10% I will be well pleased, more would be even better.
